How Much Does a Screen Porch Cost?

Best Patio materials for Florida weather?
In Central Florida our summers get extremely hot. For that reason our standard patio roofs are made of 3" insulated roof panels. This keeps the sun from transferring heat onto your roof (sheet metal roof) making your shade more like a oven. The insulated roof panels keep the heat off the roof, thus keeping you cooler below. What is the difference between a solid roof screen porch and a screen enclosure?

The solid roof screened porch is more of an addition to your house. Florida brings a lot of rain year round, The solid roof comes in hand, during rainy season. It also allows homeowners the ability to add electrical chases for fans and lights. Fan beams are added to the roof panel for fan support and gives the roof panel more rigidity. A solid roof screen room also comes with gutters, downspouts and kickplate, to reduce the wear and tear on the lower screen sections.
