Thanks for getting in touch with Mac Construction & Development! Through the years the #1 question we get asked is "How much?". So we have put together a list of general pricing and questions customers typically ask. The general pricing can be used to get an idea of how much your project will cost. If you know the general size of your area, simply apply how many square feet to the desired project square foot price. Example 10x10 = 100 square feet.

This is solely for estimating purposes only! Final estimate and proposal will be sent after a site visit and final measurements!

Will I need a permit?

Yes, in most cases you will need a permit. Step one is getting an engineered drawing for your specific project. This process usually takes 1-2 weeks. Once we have the stamped engineered drawings, paired with the permit application, we can submit for a permit. Once the permit has been submitted, the municipality reviewing the drawings takes 1-2 weeks for review. The permit process will take around 4 weeks before the permit is issued.

Can I attach a structure to my pavers?

No - Simply put, pavers provide no structural stability and a concrete footer will be needed for the permit. The footers will be placed below the pavers and the pavers will be placed back on top of the footers when they are dry. This keeps the footers out of sight and structurally sound. We use 3 #5 rebar mats and 3000 psi concrete. In addition to concrete footers required by code, we also offer small concrete pads and pavers.
